Privacy Policy for CodideAgent

Overview

CodideAgent is a helpdesk, ticketing, device registration, and notification application operated by Codide. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when users access the CodideAgent web portal or mobile applications.

Information We Collect

CodideAgent may collect information required to provide helpdesk and notification services, including:

• User login information and account identifiers
• Name, email address, mobile number, role, or organization details where provided
• Ticket details, helpdesk messages, replies, status updates, and attachments submitted by users
• Device and app registration information such as platform, device name, app version, client device ID, and push notification token or FCM token
• Login, session, and activity logs including date and time, IP address, browser or app user agent, device or app source, platform, and role
• Notification delivery logs for troubleshooting and audit purposes

CodideAgent does not collect or process payment card information as part of this application.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Authenticate users and manage sessions
• Provide helpdesk, ticketing, and support services
• Send important service notifications and push notifications
• Maintain security, audit logs, and access history

Push Notifications

CodideAgent may use Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications to Android and iOS devices. Push notification tokens are used only to deliver service-related notifications and are not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Data Sharing

Codide does not sell personal data. Information may be visible to authorized organization administrators, technicians, or support staff only as required to provide the service. Information may also be processed by trusted service providers used for hosting, Firebase push notification delivery, email delivery, security, and technical operation.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

Information may be retained as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain audit logs, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support security requirements. Organizations may request deletion or correction of applicable information by contacting Codide.

User Choices

Users may control push notification permissions from their device settings. Users may contact Codide at info@codide.in for privacy-related requests, correction requests, or deletion requests where applicable.

Children's Privacy

CodideAgent is intended for organizational and business use. It is not directed to children for personal use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
